Trust & Safety Attorney

The Position
A global marketplace technology company is seeking an experienced Trust & Safety Counsel to support a high-touch legal team focused on platform safety, fraud prevention, law enforcement response, and crisis-related matters. This role sits at the intersection of legal, operations, communications, public policy, and customer support, advising on sensitive issues that impact both user safety and company risk.

The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment where legal plays a critical role in helping the business respond quickly and thoughtfully to urgent matters. You’ll partner closely with Fraud & Safety, Customer Support, Global Crisis Management, Communications, Public Policy, Privacy, and other internal teams to assess legal risk, provide practical guidance, and help ensure external communications do not create additional exposure for the company.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with criminal law, prosecution, investigations, fraud, law enforcement operations, platform safety, crisis response, or related high-stakes matters. This person should be highly responsive, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to provide clear, actionable guidance in time-sensitive situations. Strong judgment, high EQ, excellent writing skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure are essential.

This role also requires someone who can quickly draft memos, systematize processes, and help create repeatable workflows or escalation paths for future incidents.

The client is looking to have someone in the seat ASAP for 40+ hours/week. The expected duration for this role will be 3-6 months and candidates can be fully remote. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $120. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Litigation Paralegal

The Position
Our client, a technology company, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its corporate litigation team. This role involves reviewing legal documents, performing fact gathering, drafting routine and moderately complex legal documents, organizing case materials, maintaining electronic files and databases, tracking deadlines, working with internal partners and outside counsel, and supporting ongoing litigation matters, including litigation matters related to IP and HR, EEOC charges, and attorney demand letters.

The ideal candidate brings at least three years of legal or administrative support experience, exceptional communication, writing, multitasking, and organizational skills, plus strong technical skills in Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint. Candidates should also demonstrate strong accountability, collaboration, thoroughness, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive documents and information. Litigation experience, an AA in paralegal studies, certification, and eDiscovery exposure are all beneficial.

ASAP start; 40 hours per week; estimated 12 month duration with the potential to extend. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 3x per week (2x/week remote) at the client's location in Westchester County, NY.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $40 and $50. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Privacy Attorney (HIPAA)

The Position
A commercial-stage pharmaceutical company is seeking a senior privacy attorney to support its legal team on a part-time basis. This role will serve as a key advisor, providing practical guidance on data collection, storage, and use across the business while partnering closely with cross-functional teams, including IT.

You’ll triage privacy questions, identify risks, and support ongoing policy development. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of U.S. privacy laws, GDPR, and UK privacy regulations, along with the ability to provide practical guidance to non-legal teams and operate with a partnership-oriented mindset. Experience with HIPAA and PHI, regulated industries, and working closely with IT or cybersecurity teams is a plus.

Targeting a 6/1 start, 10 hours/week for an estimated 3-6 months. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based on the West Coast or able to work Pacific Time hours. Please note this project will include two recurring one-hour team meetings per week.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $115 and $125. Privacy Attorney (AI Governance)

The Position
A well-known consumer technology platform is seeking a privacy attorney to support a broad range of privacy operations, governance, and regulatory initiatives. This role will work cross-functionally with legal, security, product, and business stakeholders on matters involving GDPR, CCPA, DSAR operations, privacy-by-design implementation, vendor/privacy reviews, incident response, marketing/privacy compliance, and emerging AI governance considerations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience operationalizing privacy programs, managing privacy risk assessments, supporting data governance initiatives, and advising on evolving regulatory requirements. Experience with AI/privacy governance and complex vendor or cross-border data transfer matters is strongly preferred.

This project starts May 25th, is at least 3 months with potential extension, is remote with preference for Bay Area candidates and occasional SF office visits, and requires 20-40 hours a week. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $105 and $115. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Energy Attorney

The Position
A growing energy storage company is seeking a senior energy attorney to support a small, cross-functional projects team focused on utility-scale project development. This role will begin with a focus on project acquisitions and related transaction workstreams, and expand into broader responsibilities across the project lifecycle, including permitting, land use, real estate, regulatory matters, and power purchase agreements, as projects progress.

The ideal candidate brings a strong project finance background within the energy or infrastructure space and is comfortable operating as a generalist across the project lifecycle, supporting project development, acquisitions, land use, and regulatory workstreams. Experience supporting utility-scale energy or infrastructure projects and familiarity with California energy market frameworks and CAISO-related transactions are highly valued. This role requires close collaboration with engineers and project teams, along with the ability to independently drive legal workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Targeting an ASAP start date, 40 hours/week for an estimated 2-3 month duration with the potential to extend at reduced hours. This project can be remote. Candidates local to the Denver/Boulder, CO area or San Francisco Bay Area area are a plus. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $120 and $130. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Commercial Attorney (Education Technology Experience)

The Position
Our client, an edtech company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney from a K-12 edtech background to help with overflow work for their legal team. This attorney would primarily handle a high volume of enterprise agreements for school districts. This attorney should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, have a strong understanding of enterprise sales agreements, and be able to prioritize and manage workload effectively. 

Must have in resume: Experience with Student Data Privacy Consortium National Data Privacy Agreements (NDPAs) as this is a requirement for role. 

The client is also looking for someone collaborative and team oriented, who can work closely with the sales team to keep projects moving. Strong communication skills and an approachable, client friendly style will be important for success in this role.

ASAP start, 20-30 hours/week and fully remote. The duration is 3 months. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $103 and $106. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
