Commercial Attorney (Partnership Experience)

The Position
Our client, a large publicly traded technology company headquartered in the Bay Area, is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney with deep experience drafting and negotiating partnership agreements to join its legal team. In this role, the attorney will lead complex deal negotiations, draft a wide range of partnership contracts, and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning deals end to end, navigating sophisticated commercial issues, and working closely with the business in a fast-moving environment. Experience mentoring junior attorneys and setting drafting standards is a plus.

The client is particularly interested in candidates who bring a mix of in-house and law firm experience, including big law or similarly rigorous training, and who have a strong track record of drafting and negotiating complex, highly customized commercial agreements. The client is open to candidates from a variety of industry backgrounds, provided they are adept at handling nuanced, high-stakes deals.

ASAP start, 40 hours/week, with an initial duration of 2-3 months, with potential to extend. The candidate can be based anywhere in the U.S. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $116. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Customs & Import Attorney

The Position
A well-known global technology company is seeking an experienced U.S. customs and import attorney to support its in-house trade legal team. This role will focus on advising the business on U.S. import and customs compliance matters, including HTS classification, country of origin and marking determinations, tariff analysis, and FDA and other regulatory requirements that apply at the time of import. The attorney will work closely with cross-functional partners on compliance risk assessments, program improvements, and contract provisions, and will support audits, investigations, and special projects as needed. This is a great opportunity for a trade attorney who enjoys complex, high-impact work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

ASAP start, 40 hours per week, fully remote, with an estimated duration of 12 months, with potential to extend. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $105. The ideal attorney brings prior hyperscaler or large-scale data center experience, strong judgment, and the ability to confidently quarterback negotiations while reducing reliance on outside counsel.

ASAP start, 40 hours/week, with an estimated duration of 6 months. The role is fully remote with a preference for candidates near the South Bay area.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $120 and $125. Senior Compliance Attorney (Investment Management Experience)

The Position
A well-known financial services and investing company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to step into an interim leadership role during a period of business transition. This role is ideal for a former Chief Compliance Officer or senior compliance leader from an investment management firm with deep experience in mutual funds and ETFs.

You will oversee and mentor two junior attorneys, provide guidance on complex compliance issues, advise both marketing and investment teams, and serve as a senior point of contact with regulators when needed.
