Commercial Attorney (Transactional Energy Experience)

The Position
A publicly traded company in the natural resources and manufacturing space is seeking a senior corporate attorney to provide additional support for its legal team. This role offers the opportunity to step into a high-impact position, working closely with senior leadership to manage a range of transactional and project-based legal matters.

The work includes supporting a major infrastructure-style project involving a multi-party commercial arrangement, along with broader project-based deal work. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with commercial agreements and be comfortable handling both internal and counterparty paper while coordinating across stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys stepping into complex, fast-moving environments, exercising strong judgment, and making an immediate impact with minimal oversight.

This project starts ASAP, runs 3–6 months, prefers ET and CT located candidates who are willing to travel occasionally for onsite integration. The job requires between 20–40 hours per week, has the capacity for a consistent 40 hours for interested candidates, and should be an attorney's sole project.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $115. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Energy Attorney (FERC and CEC Experience)

The Position
A growing energy storage company is seeking a senior energy attorney to support a small, cross-functional projects team focused on utility-scale project development. This role will begin with a focus on project acquisitions and expand into broader responsibilities across the project lifecycle, including permitting, land use, real estate, and regulatory matters, as projects progress.

The ideal candidate brings a strong project finance background within the energy or infrastructure space and is comfortable operating as a generalist across the project lifecycle, supporting project development, land use, and regulatory workstreams. This role requires close collaboration with engineers and project teams, along with the ability to independently drive legal workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Targeting an ASAP start date, 40 hours/week for an estimated 2-3 month duration with the potential to extend at reduced hours. This project can be remote. Candidates local to the Denver/Boulder, CO area or San Francisco Bay Area area are a plus. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $120 and $130. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

The Position
A global communications technology company is seeking a commercial attorney to support its legal team during a hiring gap. This is a highly sales-facing role working on a mix of renewals, customer support matters, and new commercial agreements, many of which are complex and long-form in nature.

The ideal candidate will have a strong SaaS background, experience supporting sales teams, and prior exposure to telecom or similarly complex contracting environments. This role requires someone who can operate with sound judgment, communicate risk clearly, and help drive deals forward in a fast-paced setting. Experience with data terms, AI-related issues, or procurement support is a plus.

This remote position begins ASAP, is 40 hours a week and is anticipated to last 3 months.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $90 and $100. The Position
A leading consumer technology company is seeking a commercial attorney to support its legal team on a long-term contract basis, covering a parental leave. The role focuses on high-impact work within the digital advertising and ad tech space, including drafting and negotiating agreements such as SSP, SaaS, and data licensing agreements.

This is a hands-on role working closely with business teams, requiring strong experience in programmatic advertising, data use, and privacy considerations. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting ad sales teams and navigating complex, multi-party data environments.

This project starts June 1, is through mid-January 2027, is hybrid/onsite in Los Angeles, CA, and requires 20 hours/week initially, ramping to 30–40 hours/week.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $95 and $105. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

The Position
A growing international hospitality investment and management firm is seeking a fractional General Counsel to support its expanding U.S. operations. The company develops and operates lifestyle hotel brands and is building out its presence across key U.S. markets.

This role will serve as the primary legal partner to U.S. operations, working closely with hotel leadership and handling a broad range of matters including commercial contracts, real estate, regulatory compliance, and post-acquisition integration. The position is highly autonomous and ideal for someone comfortable acting as the go-to legal advisor in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.

Candidates should have strong experience in hospitality, retail, or entertainment, with deep exposure to commercial contracting and real estate matters.

This remote project starts ASAP, is 6+ months, is open to candidates in the Eastern Time (Greater Boston and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale preferred), and requires 15-25 hours per week.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $120.
