We are hiring a skilled product attorney – with prior experience working for a large social media or technology company – to join a team that supports and advises on the engineering technology underlying the messaging capabilities for nearly a dozen products. In this role you will (1) ensure that the messaging applications are compliant with US and EU privacy regulations, and (2) provide general advice and counsel on data security and data privacy matters. You will serve a variety of internal stakeholders who represent the needs and interests of multiple products/subsidiaries, and you will need to customize your advice and counsel based on the internal stakeholder and team with which they are collaborating at any given time.
This is a full-time (40 hr / week), fully remote role expected to begin in April 2024 and last 6 months.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $116. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
