Contracts Manager (Hybrid New Jersey)

The Position
A leading global reinsurance company is seeking a seasoned contracts professional to support its legal and compliance department while a team member is on extended leave. This role focuses on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating NDAs/confidentiality agreements, and event/service agreements. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of in-house corporate legal experience, preferably with U.S. property and casualty insurance companies, and thrives working independently in a small department.

This project starts on or about October 1 and runs through March 2026 with potential extension into May It is hybrid in Princeton, NJ (with initial in-person training required), and is 40 hours/week.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $40 and $60. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

Corporate Generalist Attorney (Higher Education)

The Position
Our client is a graduate-level institution in Southern California focused on depth psychology. They are seeking an experienced higher education attorney to join its three-person legal team. This attorney will take on a broad range of matters, including IP, employment, regulatory, and commercial agreements.

This role will involve the revision of the school's IP policy, provide day-to-day counseling on employment and HR issues with a focus on Title IX and ADA compliance, and draft and negotiate a variety of commercial transactions across facilities, software, procurement, and marketing. This person will also assess and triage regulatory issues, advising on which issues can be managed internally and which require specialist outside counsel. 

This person must be able to work independently within a small legal team, and balance legal advice with practical realities of an academic environment. The client is seeking someone who values collaboration, and can build trust with faculty and staff, while demonstrating a genuine commitment to education, Strong higher education experience is a must, including some familiarity with DOE regulations and governance structures. 

The client is looking to have someone in the seat ASAP for 10+ hours/week. The estimated duration is ongoing and candidates can be fully remote. Overlap with PST hours is important. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $120. Labor and Employment Attorney

The Position
Our client is a consumer packaged goods company located in the Bay Area. They are looking for a seasoned Labor and Employment Attorney to provide immediate support as they identify a FT resource. This attorney should have a deep background in employment law, ideally with experience in product or manufacturing environments. Immediate responsibilities will include managing employment law escalations from Employee Relations teams across U.S. facilities, providing legal risk analysis for leave, accommodation, discipline, and termination matters, and support project-based work including misclassification/exemption analysis and labor productivity reviews.

Prior law firm and in-house experience is a must. The ideal candidate is collaborative, business-minded, and solutions-oriented. This role will partner closely with internal teams to develop thoughtful, practical, and unique approaches that balances compliance with business needs. Our client is open to temp-to-perm depending on fit, where the role would expand to cover a broad range of employment law matters, including litigation, unionized labor support, investigations, compliance, wage and hour, ERISA, and employee benefits. 

Our client is targeting an ASAP start to allow for training cross-over. 3 months to start, 25-30 hours per week. This role is onsite 2 days per week in Oakland, CA. If role goes perm, employees are expected to be onsite 3 days per week. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $105 and $120. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

The Position
Our client is a battery manufacturing company and they are seeking an experienced corporate and securities attorney to join its legal team. In this role, you’ll handle a broad range of corporate and securities work, including preparing and reviewing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and Section 16 reports), advising on earnings releases and Regulation FD compliance, and staying ahead of evolving SEC and NASDAQ rules. You’ll also guide insider trading policies, shareholder proposals, and board/committee governance, while supporting corporate policy development, training initiatives, and occasional subsidiary, investment, and M&A matters.

ASAP start, 40 hours/week, fully remote with a preference for candidates to come onsite occasionally at their Bay Area location if they are local. The duration is ongoing. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $112 and $115. Product Attorney (AR/VR)

The Position
Our client is a social media company that offers a virtual reality product. This product is being launched to both businesses and direct consumers, and one of their attorneys is going on leave. They need additional support to provide advice and counsel. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in-house to support a consumer-facing technology product. The work will involve advising on consumer-related issues, including privacy policies, data use, storage, and deletion, content regulation, and integrity matters.

This person will also advise on training and education materials for the platform, and must be able to handle applicable commercial transactions that are related to the product as it launches in a new space. This candidate should have prior experience working in a highly collaborative legal environment, where communication between engineering, product managers, and subject matter experts is the norm. 

ASAP start, 40 hours/week, and fully remote. The estimated duration is through the end of the year, with potential to extend.
