Commercial Attorney (Biotech/Pharmaceutical Experience)

The Position
A well-known biotechnology company is seeking an experienced commercial attorney to support overflow work. This role will provide critical support during a high-volume contracting period and offers the opportunity to partner directly with a seasoned legal team working at the intersection of patient access, commercialization, and distribution. Responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including market access agreements, specialty pharmacy and distribution agreements, and patient services agreements.

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience supporting a biotech or pharmaceutical company on commercial agreements, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with in-house counsel. 

Targeting an ASAP start date, for an estimated 5-month duration, 10-15 hours per week, fully remote but must be able to support Pacific Time business hours. 
 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $105 and $120. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

The Position
A leading global technology company is seeking an experienced employment attorney to provide coverage during a team member’s leave. This role focuses on employment counseling and advisory work across the U.S. and Canada, with an emphasis on California employment law. You’ll advise on day-to-day HR and compliance matters, including claims, demand letters, and providing guidance on federal and state employment laws.

This attorney must have a strong and knowledgable background in California employment law and significant former in-house experience. The ideal attorney brings a practical, business-minded approach and communicates in a clear, concise, and solutions-oriented manner. You’re someone who helps teams move matters forward efficiently, provides steady coverage and continuity, and ensures issues are handled smoothly without unnecessary complexity.

This project is targeting a mid December start date for an estimated 3.5 month duration. 25-30 hours/week, fully remote but must be able to support Pacific Time business hours. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $105 and $112. A well-known enterprise organization is seeking a proactive and versatile Paralegal to provide full-time support across compliance, employment, regulatory, and legal operations functions.

You’ll handle a wide range of responsibilities including Extensive Reporting Responsibilities, such as Affirmative Action Plans, California Pay Act Reporting, EEO Policy. Immigration, Annual Anti-Harassment Training and DEI&I. This role will also be supporting litigation reporting and investigations. Along with responsibilities in Billing administration. This role is ideal for someone with strong initiative, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple functions.

This remote position has an ASAP start, is 40 hours per week and expects to be ongoing in duration.The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $45 and $50. The Position
A leading global entertainment and media company is seeking an attorney with strong product counseling experience to support its direct-to-consumer streaming platforms. This role sits within a dynamic product and technology organization that drives innovation across consumer-facing digital services.

The attorney will provide strategic legal guidance throughout the product development, launch, and lifecycle phases, with a primary focus on consumer law, product marketing, and business operations. The position also involves collaborating closely with teams handling privacy, partnerships, content licensing, and promotional initiatives.

Ideal candidates will bring at least five years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a track record of advising on product counseling, marketing, and direct-to-consumer operations. Strong analytical skills, practical problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively across business and legal teams are key. California bar membership is required. 

This project is 20 hours/week, starts January 5th for an initial estimated 12 week duration. There is a strong preference for someone who can go onsite 1-2 days/week in Santa Monica, CA. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $80 and $110. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.

The Position
A leading e-commerce technology company in the fraud prevention and payments risk space is seeking an experienced commercial and privacy attorney to help unify and modernize its contract and compliance framework following a recent merger. The attorney will negotiate day-to-day customer and vendor agreements, tighten contractual consistency across entities, and build scalable tools and SOPs to support continued growth. The work also includes consolidating contract templates, standardizing terms of service, and refreshing public-facing data privacy and compliance materials (including CCPA and GDPR).

Attorneys with prior in-house experience in an e-commerce and data/privacy environment will be especially well suited to this role. The ideal candidate communicates both the “what” and the “why” behind recommendations; enjoys improving processes while staying close to the work; and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Targeting an early November start date, 15-20 hours per week through the end of January, with the potential to extend and move to an ad hoc ongoing duration. Fully remote and timezone agnostic. Candidates on the West Coast should be comfortable occasionally attending early morning calls for East Coast based team. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $120.
