Intellectual Property Attorney

May 2, 2025/in Trademark/Copyright Project Attorney/by

The Position
Our client is a fast-growing construction company based in Canada with significant operations across the U.S. They are seeking a strategic, process-minded IP attorney to help manage and expand their growing portfolio of patents (construction and building materials) and trademarks. You won’t be prosecuting patents directly, but you will be the architect of the internal IP infrastructure—guiding innovation, enforcing protections, and ensuring legal alignment as we scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Advise on IP strategy, including patent and trademark management.

  • Develop processes for invention disclosures, internal IP reporting, and committee oversight.

  • Collaborate with inventors and product leaders to identify protectable IP.

  • Oversee outside counsel handling patent prosecution and related matters.
