Tech Transactions Attorney (Digital Media)
The Position
Our client is a technology company that is looking for support in their digital media department. They are seeking an experienced Tech Trans Commercial Attorney to support their team with overflow work. This attorney will primarily focus on amending existing agreements, so strong drafting skills and transactional experience are essential. This attorney should be highly detail-oriented and comfortable reviewing terms and conditions, making updates to reflect new product and content features, and ensuring all documentation is aligned and accurate. Because this is a fast-paced and evolving environment, the attorney should be able to get up to speed quickly, manage shifting priorities, and exercise sound judgment when navigating ambiguity.
Experience with any AI related work and content licensing for AI training is a strong preference. In addition to drafting and reviewing amendments, this person may also join calls with strategic business partners to negotiate changes. Depending on workload, they may also assist with other ad hoc projects, such as reviewing existing agreements and pulling out commonly negotiated terms to streamline future discussions with strategic partners. Candidates with a background in the digital media space are encouraged to apply.
ASAP start, 40 hours/week, fully remote with a 3 month duration with potential to extend. The candidate can be based anywhere in the U.S.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $103 and $110. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
