Senior Compliance Attorney (Investment Management Experience)

The Position
A well-known financial services and investing company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to step into an interim leadership role during a period of business transition. This role is ideal for a former Chief Compliance Officer or senior compliance leader from an investment management firm with deep experience in mutual funds and ETFs.

You will oversee and mentor two junior attorneys, provide guidance on complex compliance issues, advise both marketing and investment teams, and serve as a senior point of contact with regulators when needed. You will also help review and strengthen a compliance function that was built internally as the business shifts toward a more mutual fund and ETF-focused strategy.

This remote project is expected to start around February 1, is initially 2-3 months in duration, and requires approximately 15 to 25 hours per week. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $115 and $125. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
