Marketing Compliance Attorney (OB3 Legislation Experience)

The Position
A leading organization in the higher education industry is seeking an experienced Marketing Compliance Attorney or Marketing Compliance Professional to support its legal and compliance team during a significant increase in marketing review work. 

In this role, you'll review a high volume of marketing materials against an established claims library and marketing manual to ensure all marketing claims comply with approved guidance. You'll identify claims that fall outside existing approvals, route those items for legal escalation, and partner with internal marketing teams to communicate review outcomes and help stakeholders find compliant paths forward. 

The ideal candidate has experience supporting higher education marketing compliance and enjoys partnering with business teams in a collaborative, solutions-oriented manner. Success in this role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, communicates with a 'get to yes mindset', and remains effective even when internal stakeholders consider every request urgent. Experience supporting for-profit higher education, familiarity with OB3 legislation, and Workfront experience are all strong differentiators.

This project starts ASAP, is expected to last approximately two months with potential extension, is fully remote, supports Central Time business hours, and requires 20-30 hours per week with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $70 and $100. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
