Fund Formation Attorney
This Position:
We are seeking an experienced Fund Formation Attorney to provide coverage during an employee’s parental leave. The role will begin with part-time hours for training and transition, followed by full-time (or near full-time) work for approximately four months.
In this role, you will drive key fund- and treasury-related initiatives, working closely with executives while also handling a variety of legal matters, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, and other day-to-day legal needs. You will navigate a dynamic workload, balancing leadership on critical business decisions with hands-on support for the legal team. Successful candidates will have 5+ years of advising on structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds, with a focus on regulatory compliance and investor negotiations. Having a background with Crypto or Blockchain is a plus.
This is an ASAP start and the hours are 20-40. The anticipated duration is 4 months. This role is fully remote.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $120 and $125. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
