Cybersecurity Attorney
The Position
Our client, a technology company, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Attorney to help cover an upcoming family leave. In this role, you’ll advise on global cybersecurity laws and industry standards, drive compliance initiatives, and guide internal and external risk assessments. You’ll also partner closely with senior leadership on evolving regulations, support incident response efforts, and help the business stay ahead of an increasingly complex cyber landscape.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in frameworks such as CCPA, NIS2, FedRAMP, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NIST standards. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
Anticipated start date is the end of October, early November. 40-50 hours/week, fully remote, with a preference for West Coast-based candidates.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $95 and $106. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
