We are hiring a skilled attorney with extensive experience supporting incident response initiatives for cybersecurity issues. In this role, you will partner with internal and external clients (HR teams, security teams, engineering, etc.) to advise on privacy matters, cybersecurity risk/breach, disaster recovery, compliance regimes, and other issues that arise when data is at risk. More specifically, you will:
negotiate with customer-facing teams (and sometimes customers themselves),
address customer concerns, potentially drafting customer notifications when a breach happens,
provide overflow support on incident response matters.
As the client looks to expand their geographic product offerings into new territories, you may also be tasked with gap analysis responsibilities and drafting terms.
This is a full-time (40 hr / week), fully remote role expected to last 4 months. Candidates must be able to work PST hours.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $120. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
Is this you?
Do you have 8+ years of experience providing pragmatic advice on cybersecurity incident response, including policy review, liaising directly with customers, and supporting general incident response? Do you possess a solid understanding of the storage of customer data cloud platforms as well as the timing of an incident response? Have you handled legislative analysis for AI tools?
If so, and if you are licensed, in good standing, in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, please submit your resume. We’d love to chat. We look forward to hearing from you!
