Commercial Attorney – Biotech
The position
We are hiring an experienced attorney to lead a template, playbook and resource materials revamp project for a pharmaceutical/biotech company. In this role, you will review contracts, templates, playbooks, and other resources & legal documents to ensure that the content is accurate, current, and aligned with the client's standards and goals. You will propose changes as needed and incorporate global provisions as applicable.
You will also lead efforts to consolidate and streamline global templates, playbooks and contract guidance resources, creating additional resources as needed. Lastly, you will advise on standard provisions and legal background, as well as, propose fallback language for playbooks and resource documents so legal, business, and sourcing contract drafters can negotiate efficiently and independently.
This is a 20-40 hour per week, hybrid role expected to last through June of 2025. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Marin County, CA on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $115. Please see additional compensation and benefits information here.

Our client is seeking a commercial attorney with experience working for a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company and familiarity with standard contracts (MSAs, biotech specific contract knowledge) and legal provisions (confidentiality and indemnity).
