California Litigation Attorney (Onsite)
The Position
Our client is a large restaurant franchise with more than 70,000 employees nationwide. They are seeking a temp to perm California licensed litigation attorney, open to mid (5+ yrs exp) and senior (8+ yrs exp) experience level. Senior level litigation attorney will be responsible for in-house depositions, investigations, hands-on litigation, and would be trusted and expected to manage cases from start to finish. They will own the entire process for CA based cases but will also partner closely with outside counsel for cases in other states. Client is open to more mid level litigation attorneys even if they do not have experience managing cases start to finish. For mid level attorney, they will be looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and is motivated to up-skill. The bulk of the work will be ~75% premises liability and 25% commercial/real estate disputes.
The ideal candidate must be team oriented, collaborative, comfortable communicating kindly and respectfully across all teams and all levels of experience.
ASAP start, 40 hours per week. Candidates must be licensed in California (bonus if barred in additional states) and must be comfortable with a hybrid model, 4 days onsite M-TH in San Francisco, CA. This is 2-3 month duration with potential to convert for the right candidate.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $105. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
