Attorney Development Associate (Remote)

As a member of the Attorney Development team, you will play an integral role in growing Paragon’s business by managing attorneys on projects and fostering relationships with our team members, ensuring a positive and fulfilling experience, and matching attorneys with client projects.
This role is fully remote with intermittent travel required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage attorney relationships throughout the life of each engagement, including providing guidance on project-related issues, conducting project management check-ins, and coaching attorneys on best practices and client expectations
- Serve as a strategic partner to attorney team members during the project filling process by facilitating re-engagement and providing honest feedback, job market updates, and recommendations;
- Support attorney team development by identifying growth opportunities and implementing internal programs;
- Work cross-functionally with the Client Development, HR, Operations, and Recruiting teams to coordinate attorney project onboarding and offboarding and facilitate problem solving;
- Provide a smooth team member experience through thoughtful, timely, and thorough communication;
- Facilitate and develop a sense of community amongst the team and the alumni through ongoing communications, relevant programming, and other opportunities in line with Paragon values;
- Attend company events, legal conferences, and other networking events;
- Additional projects as assigned.
Core competencies that will make you successful:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience (for example, attorney, project management, account management, or recruiting roles), including 3+ years of law practice;
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve independently;
- High EQ; comfortable relaying constructive feedback to attorneys and dealing with sensitive information and scenarios;
- Strong written and oral professional communication skills including comfort working with senior management across departments;
- Skilled at multitasking and adapting priorities as required;
- Extremely detail oriented and organized;
- Works well in a small, collaborative team;
- Comfortable asking questions and seeking direction when needed;
- Excellent computer skills (Slack, Google Suite, relationship management software, etc.).
The base salary for this role is in the range of $95,000 – $120,000. This position is eligible for a 15% target bonus based on both individual and company performance. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
Full time employees are eligible for Paragon’s medical, dental, and vision insurance (with an employer contribution), long-term disability, life, and AD&D coverage, medical FSA participation, 401(k) participation for eligible employees, unlimited CLEs through PLI, Employee Assistance Plan, paid vacation, and paid sick time (where required by state law).
