Regulatory Attorney (FCC Satellite Licensing)

The Position
Our client, a satellite imagery provider, is seeking an experienced regulatory attorney to join its Regulatory Affairs team. This attorney would focus on FCC space station licensing, handling complex multi-hundred-page applications with significant technical inputs, and potentially supporting related ground station and ITU filings. The role would involve preparing and submitting applications, assisting with spectrum coordination, and working closely with engineers and policy staff. The right candidate will have hands-on FCC licensing experience, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to step in seamlessly without significant training.

ASAP start, 20 hours per week, and fully remote. The candidate can be based anywhere in the U.S., and the estimated duration is until the end of the year, with potential to extend. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $112 and $120. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
