Product Attorney (AR/VR)
The Position
Our client is a social media company that offers a virtual reality product. This product is being launched to both businesses and direct consumers, and one of their attorneys is going on leave. They need additional support to provide advice and counsel. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in-house to support a consumer-facing technology product. The work will involve advising on consumer-related issues, including privacy policies, data use, storage, and deletion, content regulation, and integrity matters.
This person will also advise on training and education materials for the platform, and must be able to handle applicable commercial transactions that are related to the product as it launches in a new space. This candidate should have prior experience working in a highly collaborative legal environment, where communication between engineering, product managers, and subject matter experts is the norm.
ASAP start, 40 hours/week, and fully remote. The estimated duration is through the end of the year, with potential to extend.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $90 and $95. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
