We are hiring an experienced Director of Recruiting to join our team on a remote basis. The Director of Recruiting will be a crucial member of the Paragon Legal recruiting team, responsible for managing a team of senior recruiters, driving proactive talent initiatives, and serving as additional coverage for the recruiting and sourcing teams. This role requires a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record in legal recruiting and team management. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven strategist, a supportive mentor, and a hands-on recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment.
This is a fully remote role with travel required 1-2x per year.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:

Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of Senior Recruiters, fostering a fun, collaborative and high-performing environment.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop individual coaching plans. Mentor and train recruiters to enhance their recruiting skills and industry knowledge.

With client side colleagues, manage & prioritize team workload and ensure efficient recruiting coverage for projects.

Monitor and report on team performance, utilizing data and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Lead the recruitment and onboarding of new recruiters.
Proactive Talent Strategies & Team Coverage:

Assist the Project Filling team with building and maintaining proactive pipelines of highly qualified interim counsel candidates.

Partner with the Business Development team for potential client needs.

Periodically manage full lifecycle recruitment, from initial sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.

Serve as additional coverage for the recruiter and sourcing teams during PTO and as needed.

Partner with the sourcing team to ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates.

Utilize LinkedIn and other networking forums to promote Paragon projects and connect with legal talent.

As a team, maintain the integrity of Paragon's ATS through consistent and thorough “real time” reporting of relevant recruiting activity and intel.
Strategic and Operational Contributions:

Contribute to the development and implementation of recruiting best practices and processes.

Create and analyze team KPI reports. Share findings in an easily digested manner.

Utilize data-driven insights to optimize recruiting strategies and improve efficiency.

Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform recruiting strategies.

Provide market intel to client-facing colleagues.

Partner with the VP Recruiting, Senior Recruiters, and Talent Sourcing Team on other special projects related to Paragon's sourcing and recruiting function.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of legal recruiting experience gained within a talent acquisition team, search firm, and/or staffing agency. Experience recruiting for in-house legal positions is strongly preferred. Experience with contract/consulting/interim placements is preferred but not required.

3+ years of experience managing a team.

Technical Proficiency — You are proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter. You understand the importance of maintaining accurate records and leveraging technology to maximize recruiting efficiency and candidate experience.

Compensation:
The base salary for this role is in the range of $125,000-155,000. This position is bonus eligible. Bonus will be based on individual, team, and company performance. The salary range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
Full time employees are eligible for Paragon’s medical, dental, and vision insurance (with an employer contribution), long-term disability, life, and AD&D coverage, medical FSA participation, 401(k) participation, unlimited CLEs through PLI, paid vacation, and paid sick time.
