Real Estate Attorney (Commercial)

The Position
Our client is a busy family office based in Texas. They run and operate many restaurant franchises and are also involved in the other companies within that vertical, including construction, employee training, etc. The client also has other investments in its portfolio. 90% of the client's businesses are in Texas and 10% are in Kansas City (Kansas and Missouri). The client has a CLO, who handles strategy and high level projects, as well as outside counsel.

The ideal candidate will be barred in Texas and have commercial real estate experience negotiating and drafting leases, letters of intent, and construction agreements.

This project is 10-20 hours/week (10 to start) and will be fully remote. This attorney should be able to spread their 10-20 hours throughout the week and be able to work between the hours of 8am-6pm CT. This will start ASAP and can be ongoing and long term for the right fit.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $80 and $100. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
