As a Business Development Manager at Paragon, Dan is responsible for forging strategic partnerships with in-house leaders who can benefit from Paragon’s deep bench of flexible in-house counsel resources. Dan is a seasoned business development executive focused on delivering elegant solutions to corporate legal teams.
Before joining Paragon Legal, Dan was Director of Business Development for a national law firm, where he developed a keen understanding of the needs and challenges of in-house legal departments. Dan has also served as Head of Sales for an intellectual property monetization firm where he executed millions of dollars in successful patent transactions on behalf of corporate IP teams. Dan has nearly 2 decades of building relationships and developing mutually beneficial partnerships with Fortune 1000 legal departments. He is a seasoned and persuasive presenter with hundreds of presentations and speaking engagements conducted to date.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Western Governors University. Dan also earned his Mastering Sales certification from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Dan resides in Grand Haven, Michigan with his wife Alison, daughter Layla, son Finnian, and their precocious Weimaraner dog named Vedder. Dan enjoys endurance running and has completed 9 marathons and one ultra-marathon. Dan hopes to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon, though his required daily attendance at his daughter’s unicorn tea parties is cutting into his training time.
