Labor& Employment Attorney (Arbitration Experience )

The Position
A major U.S. airline is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to provide interim support to its legal team. This attorney will take meaningful ownership of sophisticated employment arbitration and traditional labor matters, including serving as lead counsel in labor arbitrations and administrative proceedings, advising on federal and state employment laws, addressing collective bargaining and labor issues, and managing outside counsel.

The ideal candidate has extensive employment-related arbitration experience and substantive labor and employment expertise. The role may include advising on matters involving FMLA, ADA, ADEA, Title VII, OSHA, WARN, USERRA, and related employment laws, as well as labor matters involving collective bargaining agreements and the Railway Labor Act. 

This project starts ASAP, is 3-6+ months, is onsite or hybrid in Dallas Texas, and requires 25-30 hours/week.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $110. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
