Commercial Transactions Attorney
The Position
A global technology company within the payments ecosystem is seeking a commercial attorney to support its personalization and digital services business across North America. This attorney will partner closely with the commercial team and own the end-to-end deal flow for a range of commercial transactions. The role focuses on drafting, structuring, and negotiating commercial agreements, including MSAs, platform and partner agreements, transactional contracts, and marketing or event-related agreements. The attorney will also support more strategic transactions and advise the business on deal structure and commercial considerations.
This position requires someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing both high-volume contracting work and more complex commercial deals. The right candidate will be pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and enjoy working closely with business stakeholders to move transactions forward. Candidates must have strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
ASAP start, with an estimated duration of 6-9 months, is hybrid (Purchase, NY or New York City), and requires 3 days per week in the office.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $90 and $110. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
