Position Summary:
We are hiring a founding BDR team with clear paths to AE, sales leadership, or other growth areas based on performance and interest. You'll be our founding BDR, building the outbound engine that will fuel Paragon’s next phase of growth.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in prospecting new business for the company. Our ideal candidate is someone who can communicate effectively with sophisticated stakeholders by exhibiting a strong sense of maturity, confidence, curiosity, and professionalism, and possesses the hustle to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:
- Strategically researching/identifying potential client contacts and generating high-quality meetings

Evangelizing Paragon’s business model to prospective clients and booking high-quality meetings

Identifying ICP patterns and document winning playbooks

Driving business through outbound phone calls, preparing and sending highly tailored, personalized, and relevant e-mails to prospective clients specific to their role and practice area

Successfully diagnosing the client’s key business needs to ensure the first sales meeting leads to high-value opportunities and revenue

Maintaining and logging all sales touch points within HubSpot

Building the foundational skills for a successful career in sales or sales management
Qualifications:

Goal-oriented with a drive to routinely exceed monthly activity metrics (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn messages)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact with senior clients at Fortune 500 companies

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school or equivalent experience
Compensation:
The annual salary for the Business Development Representative is a base salary of $50,000 with an expected OTE of $80,000. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
Full time employees are eligible for Paragon’s medical, dental, and vision insurance (with an employer contribution), long-term disability, life, and AD&D coverage, medical FSA participation, 401(k) participation for eligible employees, unlimited CLEs through PLI, Employee Assistance Plan, paid vacation, and paid sick time (where required by state law).
