Whether it’s fundraising for local shelters, fostering adoptable pets, or caring for animals while their owners travel, these efforts demonstrate that small acts of service can make a lasting impact.
For Carolyn Strauss, supporting animal welfare means showing up wherever she’s needed.

Inspired by volunteering at cat shelters and feeding stray cats while studying abroad in Greece, Niki Anand founded Purrtective Paws in 2025.
