Commercial & Marketing Attorney (Trademark Strategy Experience)

The Position
Our client is a global consumer products company specializing in office and school supplies. They are seeking an experienced Commercial and Marketing Counsel to provide interim support during a key transition period.

This attorney will partner closely with business stakeholders on a broad range of commercial and brand-related legal matters, including reviewing marketing and advertising claims, supporting claim substantiation and marketing compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, advising on trademark strategy and portfolio management, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements such as vendor, distribution, and supply contracts. Experience supporting consumer products, consumer goods, manufacturing, retail, or other brand-driven organizations is highly desirable.

Targeting an ASAP start, 10-20 hours/week, for an estimated 2-3 month duration. This role is fully remote. Candidates located in CT or local to Lake Zurich, IL are a plus. 

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $112 and $116. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
