At Paragon Legal, delivering exceptional legal talent is only part of the equation. Just as important is the experience we create for the in-house legal teams we support, from understanding exactly what they need to finding the right legal professionals and remaining a responsive partner throughout the engagement.
Our latest client feedback reflects that commitment: Paragon Legal has achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 83.
That builds on our previous NPS of 79 and reinforces something we hear consistently from clients: the right flexible legal talent partner isn’t simply providing resumes. It is helping legal teams solve problems quickly, confidently, and with talent that fits the way their organization works.
What an 83 NPS Means
Net Promoter Score measures how likely clients are to recommend a company to a friend or colleague. Respondents answer on a scale from 0 to 10, with 9s and 10s considered promoters, 7s and 8s passives, and scores below 7 detractors. The percentage of detractors is then subtracted from the percentage of promoters to calculate the final NPS.
Based on our 100 most recent client scores, Paragon’s NPS is 83. Across those same responses, clients gave Paragon an average rating of 9.3 out of 10, with a median score of 10.
Our latest NPS builds on our previous score of 79 and reflects the trust our clients place in both our attorneys and the team behind every engagement.
But the numbers only tell part of the story.
What Clients Say Sets Paragon Apart
Across our client feedback, several themes consistently stand out.
High-quality talent, carefully matched
Finding an experienced attorney isn’t enough. The attorney also needs the right subject-matter expertise, judgment, working style, and ability to integrate into an in-house environment.
As one client shared:
“The caliber of the candidates that met our exact needs was fantastic. Candidate quality, competitive rates and client service were equally outstanding.”
Another described Paragon’s approach as providing talent with “a strong balance of relevant expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to integrate quickly into a fast-moving in-house legal environment.”
Responsive, high-touch service
Clients also consistently point to the experience of working with the Paragon team, from the initial conversation through candidate selection and the engagement itself.
One client described the experience simply:
“Responsive team, understood our needs, and curated a great set of candidates.”
Another noted:
“The Paragon sourcing team is attentive to our requests for specific candidate skills and experience, and responsive to our usually aggressive timelines for needing roles filled. Great partners!”
That high-touch approach matters because legal departments rarely turn to flexible talent when everything is quiet. They need support when workloads increase, specialized expertise is required, a team member leaves, or priorities suddenly shift.
Speed without sacrificing fit
When a legal team needs additional capacity, time matters. But moving quickly only helps if the talent is right.
One recent client went from kickoff to engagement in just four days and pointed to both the speed of the process and the quality of the match:
“Super fast responses. Really understood what we were looking for and outlined that clearly after the kickoff call. Quick to get us profiles and schedule interviews.”
When asked what ultimately drove the decision to work with Paragon, the client was equally clear:
“Candidate quality was the primary factor in selection, but Paragon client service will bring us back next time!”
That combination—speed, quality, and fit—is central to the Paragon approach.
A Flexible Talent Partner Built Around In-House Legal Teams
The feedback behind our 83 NPS reinforces what we’ve built Paragon to do: give legal departments access to experienced attorneys who can step in where and when they’re needed without forcing teams into a one-size-fits-all staffing model.
As one client put it:
“Having that kind of background support structure in Paragon, where if we have an immediate need they have a pool of people they can call on to help us out, that’s a big relief for me.”
Another described the value of that flexibility:
“I can utilize their talent for months, reassess my needs and not feel the pressure to make a rushed hire.”
Whether a legal department needs additional capacity, specialized expertise, interim coverage, or support for a critical initiative, our goal is the same: make it easier to get the right legal talent in place and give clients an experience that earns their trust.
An 83 NPS is a number we’re proud of. More importantly, it’s a reflection of the relationships behind it, and a standard we’ll continue working to exceed.
