Shannon Murphy, J.D.

As Vice President of Recruiting, Shannon leads Paragon’s talent recruitment and development team. Paragon’s recruiting team focuses on identifying top-of-market legal talent, providing valuable career counseling, and matching attorneys with fulfilling and rewarding career opportunities.

Prior to joining Paragon, Shannon was the Midwest Office Leader of Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent division. In this role she counseled legal department leadership within organizations ranging from Fortune 250 to startups on a variety of human capital, talent management, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Shannon is proud to have spent a decade working with attorneys across the country who are interested in pursuing legal career opportunities outside the traditional practice model.

Shannon earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law where she was a published member of the Dispute Resolution Law Journal. She earned her B.A. cum laude from the University of San Diego’s Honors Program. While at USD, Shannon participated in several study abroad programs and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity.

A native New Yorker, Shannon enjoys the theater and trying new restaurants. She loves traveling with friends and family and is an avid reader.
