Commercial Attorney (DFARS/FAR Experience)

The Position
A leading global industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney to provide interim support for its aerospace business. This role will focus on negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements with major aerospace customers while advising business and engineering teams on practical legal solutions. The attorney will also support government contracting matters and help navigate manufacturing-related legal issues as they arise.

The ideal candidate has meaningful aerospace industry experience, strong commercial contracting skills, familiarity with government contracts, and enjoys partnering closely with business leaders to solve complex operational challenges. Candidates who are pragmatic, business-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be especially successful.

This project starts ASAP, is expected to last for 2 months with potential to extend, is remote, and requires approximately 20-30 hours per week with the potential to increase to 30-40 hours depending on business needs.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $78 – $105 for candidates located in NE/NW/West Coast regions and $75 – $101 for candidates located in the SE/MW/SW regions. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
