With a team of more than 60 top-notch attorneys specializing in a full spectrum of legal services, Paragon can provide the right corporate counsel resource to meet your specific needs. Meet the Paragon attorneys who are in the spotlight this month:
In the Fall of 2016, Danielle Donaldson got married on a Saturday and returned to work the following Monday. She loves her job at Paragon, but that's not the reason she skipped her honeymoon. In fact, Paragon's flexible work environment is the reason Danielle was able to take an extended honeymoon in Southeast Asia a few months after her wedding, while on hiatus between client projects. Legal consulting allows Danielle to balance a full personal life without sacrificing an engaging career. She thrives on the challenging, high-level legal work available at Paragon and relishes the opportunity to gain insight into a variety of different companies while working as an integral part of their team. As a consulting attorney, Danielle has worked with a leading financial services company, a global apparel retailer, and technology companies Unity, Cadence, Splunk, Hortonworks and Autodesk.
Danielle earned her J.D. and B.S. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, before heading West. She began her legal career at the height of the technology boom in Palo Alto as a Corporate and Securities Associate with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She spent nearly four years with the firm, in addition to two years at Latham & Watkins in San Diego. Danielle then transitioned from the law into finance, working for five years as an equity trader and portfolio manager. However, she missed practicing law and working as part of a larger team. Today, she regularly leverages her investor perspective and experience in corporate securities as a corporate governance, finance and transactions attorney.
In addition to traveling, Danielle is immersed in the sports, music and food culture of the Bay Area. She finds time to regularly enjoy concerts and San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors games. She and her husband also enjoy college sports, and travel to their respective alma maters every fall to catch a football game. In her free time, you are likely to find Danielle exploring the diverse neighborhoods of San Francisco in search of the best local cuisine, or hiking around the Bay Area accompanied by her rescue dog, Geddy.
